is a father's day card for my father in-law. After all the mother's day cards I made it was nice to make one for the guys this time. My father in-law worked in an office all his life and now that he is retired and won't be receiving anymore ties for father's day I thought this was great for him.
Of course you will notice a slight difference here - I have created a bear out of a panda!!!
Card Tip:
Bakers twine is great for the times where you want to add something more but ribbon seems to feminine.

Memento rich cocoa for edging sentiment.

Lyra watercolour crayons used with a water brush, blue gems, Ranger glossy accents
I didn't look at the thumbnails too closely and already commented on this great card along with your other card. Your FIL will really get a kick out of this card and all the effort that went into it. Thanks for joining us at Deedee's DOM.

ReplyDeleteYour 2nd card with this digi is fabulous and I love the creative liberties you took in making this a regular bear! Great coloring and embellishments, and I'm sure your FIL is going to enjoy this one - especially since he no longer has to wear a tie to work! Thanks for playing along (again) with Deedee's May challenge! See you next month!
ReplyDeleteAnother fantastic card! Beautiful coloring on the bear -- he looks wonderful as a regular bear! I'm sure your father-in-law will be tickled by this. Hooray for retirement and not having to wear ties anymore! :-)
