You have probably seen previously that I am a huge fan of Jennifer Mcguire's, it is one of her techniques I was wanting to try. Here is my version of Stamp Layering With White Pigment Ink.

Remember with Perfectly Rustics and Hero Arts

its a brand new challenge happening over at Perfectly Rustics, and this fortnight we are talking about having Remember or Remembrance on your card. I also thought this was a great opportunity to showcase another Hero Arts stamp.

Card Tip:

To create this flower, I have stamped it four times on white card stock. I scanned it with my Brother Scan and Cut, and had it cut out each one. I then cut out different sections of the flowers, coloured them with distress inks and layered them up with foam tape, topped with a clear button and embroidery thread.

Card Ingredients:

Card Stock: white card stock for 5" x 5.5" card base , white, green and blue card stock from stash.
Stamps: Hero Arts hand drawn flower.
Ink: Memento tuxedo black ink, Distress Inks in bundled sage, tumbled glass, peacock feathers.
Dies: Couture Creation nesting scalloped rectangles.
Other: Fiskars scallop border punch, Tattered Angel glimmer spray, button, embroidery thread, mother of pearl sequins.

Fitztown April Challenge

Its time for another challenge over at Fitztown Challenge Blog and the theme this month is Anything Goes with the optional twist of using flowers and leaves. I thought Fitztown's Fae 3 would be the perfect image for this.
Fitztown Fae 3

Fitztown Fae 3

Card Tip:

To add interest to this card, I have printed it twice, one on xpress it card stock and one on plain white card stock. I coloured the whole image with copics on the xpress it, I then fussy cut selected flowers out of the image, coloured with corresponding copics, as well as using the last colour to go around the edges of the flowers, this will hide any uneven cutting.

Card Ingredients:

Card Stock: White card stock for 5" x 5" easel card, purple card stock from stash.
Papers: Kaisercraft violet crush 6.5" paper pad
Stamps: Fitztown Fae 3, Justrite clear extra grand sentiments.
