A New Year at Perfectly Rustics

Well it is a brand new year and a brand new challenge over at Perfectly Rustics today with a theme of Animals in any shape or form. I happened to be part of the Kit and Clowder facebook Christmas Card swap and as my card was going international, I thought this christmas Emu was perfect for this and perfect for this challenge.

Card Tip:

Your inspiration can come from anywhere, but that is what it is inspiration, that doesn't mean you can't change the idea along the way. The inspiration for this card came from a magazine but I slightly changed it with its dimensions to fit my focal image and I used a die for my bow creating more dimension.

Card Ingredients:

Card Stock: Cr8ative blue card stock, Quill cream card stock, focal image is on Ranger watercolour paper.
Papers:Doodlebug santa express paper pad.
Stamps: Kasazz edward with tree, Gina K Designs seasonal sentiments, Eclectic Images wishing you christmas.
Ink: Heroarts black ink,Versamark ink and gold embossing powder, Colorbox gold pigment ink, Derwent inktense pencils.
Dies: Lil'inkers Design bow die - large, Kaisercraft nesting frames, Cuttlebug snowflakes embossing folder.
Other: Glossy Accents, Ice stickles.
