Guest Designing for Craft Rocket Challenges.

I had the privilege to be asked to be the Guest Designer for the very first challenge at Craft Rocket Challenge Blog. The theme for this challenge is pink in honor of breast cancer awareness. At the same time my mum requested a card for her twin sisters that were turning 60, she was also giving them a gift card each, so I wanted to incorporate that into my project. This is what I came up with:





Card Tip:

To create this card base I used a 12"x 12" card stock. I then cut out a square of 3"x 3" square from each corner leaving this shape.
Then add score / fold lines to all inner areas, the top and bottom section fold in first, then the side sections fold in.
You then add pattern paper or card stock panels, all fold able sections measure 3" x  6".
To create the gift card pocket, I die cut the shape then cut it down to the width of 2".

Card Ingredients:

Card Stock: Francheville cream cardstock for the base, Quill pink and pale pink card stock.
Papers:
Stamps: Aurora Wings Lotus Sprite Big Eyes.

Markers:
               Skin: E000+E00+E11+R20
               Lips: E04+RV23  
               Eyes: BG02+BG05
               Hair: E21+E25+E23+E29 
               Flowers: R81+R83+R85, RV04+R85+RV09,  
                                RV02+RV04+RV06+RV09, Y17      
               Stems: G17+G09 
               Background: R81
Dies: Lil Inker Designs bow-mini, Spellbinders label 8, Creative Dies corner die.
Other: Pink ribbon from stash, Kaisercraft pearls.
