Red White and Blue over at Morgans ArtWorld

So with July upon us, over at Morgans ArtWorld we are supporting the patriotic cause this fortnight with a theme of a Red / White and Blue scheme. So I decided to put my own spin on it using Winter 10.

Card Tip:

You don't have to use die cuts in the original shape, I have used label 28 but trimmed the bottom circular section off, this allows the shape to suit my image better.

Card Ingredients:

Card Stock: white 5"x7" card base. Quill navy blue and red card stock.
Papers: KlouiseDigiArt snowflakes and stars digi paper.
Stamps: Morgan Fitzsimons Winter 10, sentiment from Spellbinders heirloom ornaments stamp set.
Ink: Versamark ink and Allison Ellis white embossing powder, Memento london fog for sponging.
Markers:
               Skin: E000+E00+E11+R20
               Hair: E13+E15+E18
               Jacket: R35+R37+R59
               Trim: C01
Dies: Spellbinders Label 28.
Other: Ice Stickles in crystal ice, silver and gold sakura glitter gel pen, Kaisercraft Organza red ribbon, snow flakes.

Challenge List:

  1. Oooo . . . this is gorgeous! Love that you used this color scheme for a Christmas card (I did the same thing for a card I will post on Monday). Your image is beautiful and your coloring is fabulous! I specially like that texture/sparkle on the fur portions of her coat. Thanks for playing with us at The House that Stamps Built.
