Christmas Brother and Sister

Well here we are at the last Anything Goes Challenge for 2017 over at Morgans ArtWorld Challenge blog. I don't know about you but 2017 has been a pretty full on year for me and I am looking forward to perhaps winding down for Christmas and New Year and hopefully having a more relaxed 2018, but hey we will see how it goes. Here is my project:

Card Tip:
it always amazes me how different a card can look when you change the colour scheme. I created a card last year with the same image with a completely different colour scheme, here they are side by side:

Isn't it amazing how different the the cards look with the different colour schemes, one intense and vibrant, the other soft and pastely. So next time your feeling without mojo, grab an image you have created with before but change up the colour scheme, you wont' regret it.

September New Release at Morgans ArtWorld

You saw right - its new release time over at Morgans ArtWorld. This month we are getting in touch with our animal instincts with this two images that will suit any card occasion.

Here is my project using those gorgeous Pandas.

Morgans ArtWorld September New Release, Morgan Fitzsimons Wild 2

Card Tip:
I usually use Distress Inks for making grass and sky backgrounds behind my copic coloured images. Unfortunately I found out the hard way this wasn't going to work with this image, I kept getting green ink on those gorgeous white heads. So I still used my circle die as a template but I used my copic markers to create the backgrounds. I still got my softness but with added control.

Card Ingredients:
Card Stock: Creative white card stock for 5" square card base, Quill black card stock.
Papers: Gina K Designs Made With Love paper pack.
Stamps: Morgans ArtWorld Wild 2, Happy Birthday sentiment from free stamp set from Simply Cards magazine.

               Sky:BG000+BG02

Mothers Day Tulips

This month over at Diecut Divas we are talking about May Flowers (trees, grass, and plants all count too) with the amazing sponsor Janes Doodles. Here is my inspiration project.

Diecut Divas, Janes Doodle Tulip

Card Tip:
Digital Stamps are just like rubber stamps, you have the ability to multi stamp the image in a row like this, instead of using ink, you use a word program to copy and paste them. It is easier to use a PNG file vs JPG file as they have a transparent background but you do need to play with the text wrapping setting for this to work.

Card Ingredients:
Card Stock: White card base, Creative pink card stock, Bazzil glitter purple card stock.
Stamps:Janes Doodles Tulips, Kaisercraft occasions mini stamps.
Ink: Memento tuxedo black ink.
Dies: Lil Inkers Designs bow die-small, Cheryl Lynn alison ribbons.
Other: Kaisercraft pink and purple gems.
