Earlier in the month I showed a card I had created CASing Jennifer McGuire's technique of inlaid die cuts. With anything Jennifer and die cuts, you can usually make multiple cards from the one set of die cuts. Here is another version.

Doubling Up at Outlawz.

Over at Outlawz Challenge Blog the Progressive Challenge is using a gorgeous image from Sandisamples. My focal image was already to go but I hadn't put it on a card yet. Well then the Twisted Thursday girls decided to have as the optional twist this week, an easel card and I thought perfect. I think by now its safe to say that I love easel cards, especially twisted easel cards; they are easy to make and yet bring so much wow factor to your card.  So here is another twisted easel card to add to the collection.

Card Tip:

I usually make twisted easel cards with the finished card being 6"x6" square, which tends to be a large card. I wanted to make a smaller one, to see if it would work. This way there is less bulk and there is no extra postage costs. This card ended up being the equivalent of 4"x4" square.

Card Ingredients:

Card Stock: White and purple card stock from stash.
Papers: patterned paper from stash.
Stamps: Sandi's Samples Watering Can, Clearly Besotted Stamps.
Ink: Versamark Ink, Allison Ellison white embossing powder.
Markers:
                    Watering Can: C1+C3+C5+C7
                    Heart: R22+R24+R27+R29

A CAS Progressive Sassy

For the progressive challenge this month over at the Sassy Studio Design Facebook Page, the image to use is Lingerie Lindsay.

I decided that I wanted to do something simpler and a little bit different with this image. Firstly I flipped it, so it is on the left. Secondly I enlarged and cropped it so it was only her upper half that I printed. Lastly you can see from the image that she is wearing lingerie,e.g. the top is transparent, I decided to colour it solid as if she is wearing a shirt and this is the end result.

This can be in your image, embellishments, a die cut or pattern paper, so long as there is a heart on your project. So with that in mind, I thought a wedding card would be perfect.
