Sparkly Christmas at Diecut Divas.

Its time for some more inspiration using Bugaboo Stamps and Dies R Us for Diecut Divas and this gorgeous girl took my fancy. Here is my project:

A New Month at Diecut Divas

Well its a brand new challenge over at Diecut Divas, and this month all you have to do is add glitter. This could be in the form of glitter, glitter gel pens, wink of stella pen, patterned paper, anything at all as long as it shines. A brand new month means a brand new sponsor and I have found this brand new image over at Bugaboo that I fell in love with. Here is my project:

Card Tip:

After colouring this image in with my copics, I wanted the table and the background to look really soft so I used eye shadow, i was really happy with the effect I created.

Kaisercraft Happiness

Over at Diecut Divas it is anything goes all month. The amazing sponsor this month is Kaisercraft and after speaking to a friend who seemed down and flat I decided to make her a card, that is what they are there for right - to bring a little bit of happiness to someone's day. Here is what I created:

Card Tip:

When using your pattern paper it doesn't have to be perfectly matted and aligned on your card, make a feature of it by overlapping and placing it on an angle.

Its challenge time at Morgans ArtWorld and this fortnight we are talking about pattern paper. Any image, any feature, as long as it has pattern paper on your project it could be a winner. Here is my project:

Card Tip:

Don't forget that your card base can be used as a design feature within it self, like here where I have left a large section of card base visible of either side of the pattern paper strip.

A New Month at Diecut Divas

We have been lucky at Diecut Divas this year with some fantastic sponsors and this month is no different. Kaisercraft are sponsoring us this month and we have been lucky enough to play with some items that haven't been released yet.  My first project is using a brand new embossing folder called Dreamcatcher. 

Card Tip:

I have used textured white card stock to emboss this dreamcatcher. I have then used a sponge dauber to add distress ink to the raised surface.

Card Stock: Francheville white card stock, white card base cut down to 3.5"x6".
