A little girl for Diecut Divas

I have another inspiration piece for Diecut Divas this month. This month it is all about the sketches so I started with this sketch as my starting point
I added a fantastic  image from our sponsor Bugaboo Stamps, some bright card stock and this is the end result.

Card Tip:

Remember when using a sketch, its your jumping off point, it doesn't have to be exactly the same, for example I have used a line of pearls to simulate the diagonal card stock in the corners.

Fathers Day

This weekend in Australia it was all about celebrating the men in our lives with Fathers Day. So to commemorate all the fantastic stuff my Father in law does I created this card with this adorable Some Odd Girl digital stamp.

Using Sketches over at Diecut Divas

You saw right, over at Diecut Divas this month we are having a sketch theme, with not one but two, and here there are:

So here is my first inspiration project using sketch 2.

For the Men in your Life

For the brand new fortnightly challenge over at Morgans ArtWorld Challenge Blog the theme is For the Men. I know we all have problems with the masculine cards because we can't put flowers on them, that doesn't mean you can't embellish them. This is what I came up with.

Card Tip:

Just because its a card for a guy doesn't mean you can't embellish it, you can see i have used a punch and gems to accent the corners as well as a lace sticker peeking out from behind instead of ribbon.

Card Stock: white card base, Quill black and white card stock, Ranger water colour card stock.
Papers: Echo Park that's my boy.
Stamps: Morgan Fitzsimon dragon baby in egg, inside sentiment created on computer, Justrite clear stamps 
Ink: Memento tuxedo black ink.
Other: Tonic duo ticket tag corner punch, red gems, sticker red lace, Derwent inktense water colour pencils.

A Drink, an Umbrella and Sassy Studio Designs

What do you get if you put a drink, an umbrella and Sassy Studio Designs together; this months progressive challenge image over on the Sassy Studio Designs Facebook Group, called Pina Colada Pin Up.

Card Tip:

I wanted the pin up aspect of this image to really jump so I printed one version of the image on standard card stock and coloured it using water colour crayons for a soft effect. I then cropped the image and printed it again on copic express card stock and coloured it in with copics.

Christmas at Diecut Divas

This month it is all about any holiday over at Diecut Divas so in continuing in this fashion I created a step card using the pre-cut card base from Le Crystelle, it makes it so easy to make something that looks amazing.

Stamps: Gina K Designs frame and flower stamp set, seasons greeting stamp set.
Ink: Distress ink barn door, aged mahogany, Simon Says Stamps Fern, Kaisercraft bronze pigment ink, clear embossing powder.
Dies: Spellbinders poinsettia die,  Die-namites scrolly corner, Gina K Designs fancy frame die set 2 (square), frame and flower stamp set coordinating die.
Other: gold and red gems.

With the theme being Any Holiday over at Diecut Divas I thought I would hopefully get a head start on my Christmas Card. To help me with this Lecrystelle has these precut card bases that make it all super easy.
